Excellent picture quality
I am one of those people who refuse to pay cable bill. I live in Northern VA, the location and positioning of place I live did not allow me to get nothing but 2 channels with not so great resolution (with an indoor antenna). Even some of my neighbors had trouble receiving signals with some of paid dish networks. Installing Zinwell was a snap, I did not count the channels I am able to get and never heard of before, but it is more than 15. Beside those channels that I can watch crispy clear, there are channels that says “bad or no signal” on the screen. If I get up off my couch and adjust my broken antique antenna I am able to get those channels too! (I am inclined to get a new antenna). The most OUTSTANDING feature I can mention with this box is the picture Quality. I have a Panasonic TV that is about 12 years old. After installing the Zinwell I feel like I am watching a DVD on a high resolution Plasma TV. Sound have also improved where I had to lover the sound to my comfort level. Remote that comes with the unit does not do justice to the quality of box itself. It is cheaply built, over simplistic but functional! But this is a overall complaint with all the boxes, because we are spoiled by the feel of our Universal remotes. Overall I am very happy with it and I would highly recommend it.
Very easy installation
Received this box today and I have to say it was very easy to set up. You just have to read the instructions and your good to go. You do have to play with the antenna a few times to make sure that all the channels come in clear and with a good, clear signal. I was very surprised at how clear the picture was. The picture is clearer then when I just had it set up with the antenna. Very pleased with this purchase and the ease of set up. I was expecting the converter box to be larger so I was very surprised that it was so small, it is a little bit larger then say a paperback book. It will not take up very much room and it sits very nicely on the top of the tv set that I am using it on.
