Installed like a champ. First I made sure my computer had the latest [...]Framework software (Version 3.5 SP1) which it did. I would suggest updating your computer with this software if needed by going directly to the Microsoft site. Never knowing for sure what is going to happen during an install I created a “Restore Point” prior to the installation. Put the install disk in and all went perfectly. Started the program which immediately asked to download updates (I prefer to do this on my own schedule)which I did with no problem.
I’d probably give it 5 stars, but I haven’t actually started to prepare my return.

The Best Tax Software I have been using TurboTax Premier for last 4 years. This year’s version tops and is the best solution for even novis tax filers. The step by step aproach and reminders for all available deductions is systmatic and very helpful. I have no hesitation to recomend this even for those who used to ask accountants to help file tax returns. Prior to this software I used to spend around 400 to 500 dollars every year. Now I can do the same for less than one hundred dollars. Additionally it helps to use and mantain records of charitable donations on “Its Deductible” which is free and can be imported directly to Turbotax without any diffficulty. Federal filing is free and state file has a charge but one can avoid that charge printing and mailing the tax return. They have done a great job for consumers.
