Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Box System Reviews

I was desperate to buy something that didn’t spread litter all over. I figured the Breeze was worth a shot. My cat is 16 years old and took to it within a couple of days. I bought two more for the rest of my cats and they all love it.

Tidy Cats Breeze This system is a dream come true. I have 4 cats and only had a problem with one of them when I tried to switch them over from the scoopable litter box to this system, but we got him switched over by laying one of the old litter liner bags over top of the pellets and put the scoopable litter in, then slowly scooped the poo out and didn’t refill the scoopable litter until he was out of that litter and into the pellets. He has been using the pellets ever since. We have no pee odor in the house, and the only time we ever have some poo smell is right after they go, we scoop spray some smell goods and poof, poo odor is gone. I have a husband who leaves a longer lasting odor than the cats. We used this system for about 2 years now and we love it, no more scoopable crap for us!

Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Box System this is a good product. it traps odor and is easy to forget to change. my two cats have learned to do number one in the breeze system and number two in the regular litter pan.

  1. A breeze

I’ve been using this system for more than a year and let me tell you, it’s so nice not walking grains of traditional litter – and not having to scoop up clumps that cling to the scooper. You may get some of the hard pellets on the floor but they are easy to vac up. The only complaint I have is that I often forget to change the pad because it’s “out of sight, out of mind” and if you go more than 7 days, (i once forgot and went 2 weeks) the tray that holds the pad will be overflowing with urine and the pad soaked through. I sometimes have put 2 pads in just in case and it works nicely. ALSO, once a month you will want to take your entire system apart and completely wash everything. I recently found the only product that will remove the faint urine smell from the plastic tray and grill that the litter pellets sit on. Remember, when your cat urinates, it seeps thru the pellets and catches on the pad in the drawer beneath which means, inevitably the urine will touch some of the plastic parts of the tray – so occasional washing is a MUST if you dont want your home to smell like cat pee. I have tried bleach, soft scrub with bleach, spic N span, lysol…everything and no matter how long Ive soaked the litter box parts it never removes the smell until NOW. There is a product in the grocery store cleaning supplies section called KABOOM Foam-Tastic with oyxclean which is in a dark purple can and creates a bluish “foam” that turns white in a few moments. It took all of the smell out after sitting for 5 minutes. Amazing. For a product to do what straight BLEACH could not is very impressive to me! see product here: [...]

Also, i think they should create a small digital timer you can re-set weekly that will beep after 7 days so u know to change your pad.. could clip on the side of the box and they are cheap.. size of a pedometer.
