Best Digital Photo Frame

I tryed other frames and they don’t compare to the Sony. Other frames darken at the sligest viewing angle and have very limited features. The Sony frame has it all. It works from wider viewing angles, has excellant resolution, many transitions from frame to frame, HDMI output, multi card reader, 1 GB memory built in, scrapbook features,index views, clocks, calendars and combinations. Printing can be imposed on photos. The frame is well built, has remote control and the remote pickup window on the frame is invisible not like an eye loking back at you like most other frames have. The Sony is a little more expensive than the other frames but it also looks better and has many more features on it. I like the size of this frame much better than the Sony 7″ frame I have for viewing from accross the room. It doesn’t have a way to view photos with a battery, but a battery probably may not be powerful enough for any viewing time on a large display. I also like the fact that it doesn’t have a large frame and a mat around the photo that is useless and doesn’t look as nice. I highly reccommend the Sony Frame.

10″ Sony is easy to use and provides sharp images

I recently ordered the Sony 10″ digital photo frame, because I was impressed with a smaller frame I had given as a gift. The 10″ frame was even easier to work with and offered a few extra features. The image quality on both is excellent. I did engage in some extensive research before selecting Sony; I would happily recommend this product.

Almost perfect!

I did quite a bit of online research before purchasing this frame. The thing that sold me on this versus other digital frames was that other reviewers talked about how easy it was to use. So true! I did not want to struggle with getting this to work and it really is very easy. I love the features on it, particularly the automatic rotation of the picture for the correct orientation. Picture quality is great. One feature that’s particularly nice is that one of the views shows both the picture and a clock with date/time at the same time, but the date/time is when the picture was taken. This is particularly “fun” because I loaded a number of pictures from vacations and the date is a nice reminder of when the trip was taken. The only negative is that it doesn’t take BMP pictures. I scanned a lot of old photos using bitmap but the frame wouldn’t read them. So I had to re-scan again as JPEG. One of the reasons I bought this frame was because of the large internal memory, but I quickly realized that I would need an external card. The only thing I would do differently is buy a 9″ frame rather than the 7″.

The frame is extremly bright and has really nice features – like setting when it should turn on and turn off automatically so as not to keep running when people are asleep or not at home. There is also a nice calendar view which shows the day/time when each picture was taken. This picture frame supports SD cards so you can use the memory card from your digital camera and immediately display your latest pictures. This picture frame also comes with a handy little remote which can control which pictures to scroll to and allows you to turn the frame on/off remotely.
