The Neatest Little Machine Ever

The bowl and drive-post sleeve of my 26-year-old Cuisinart food processor have finally developed cracks so I started looking for a new one. Since I no longer need a full-size processor, I decided to try the DFP-3 Handy Prep. It arrived just a few days after my order was placed with Amazon and I am delighted with it. It’s sturdy, heavy base fits into a small space on the countertop and it chops and shreds as efficiently as the full-size machine for a fraction of the price. I love it.

My sons gave this to me as a Christmas gift. This is a handy food processor to have in the kitchen. I was suprised that it came with multiple blades and the shoot attachment for larger amounts. I tried it first with slicer and did a cucumber! WOW…sliced in about 5 seconds! (perfect thin slices)Great for a cucumber salad that I make! Made my own hummus and found it wonderful for making chicken salad, cuts up the big pieces of chicken breast meat easily. Does everything that the larger processors do and is half the size. I am extremely satisfied with this product and I highly recommend this for all cooks. Great quality at a good price!

If you love fries, you must have this

Cleaning is easy, just boil water with soap. First, wait 2 hours after the oil has been cooled down, then drain the oil to a bowl. If you think this is too much work, then this product is not for you. For cooking frozen fries bought from supermarkets, this deep fryer is outstanding. For frying everything else, you’ll also love this. This is an excellent size, if you need to fry a lot in the same setting, just keep draining products and frying for multiple times. There are lights telling you whether the oil or food is ready or not. If you love fries and don’t want to pay for fast food prices, buy it! It’ll pay off.

This is a wonderful little appliance for 2 people. My only fault with it is that it is made for right handed people. It’s too bad the basket can’t be set toward the left or the drain area built on both sides. It is a minor thing as most left handed people have learned to adapt to right handed products. Great little filters These work great. The coffee taste so much better vs unfiltered coffee, with my water anyway. I like the way Cuisinart designed their machines to filter the water before it goes through the machine rather than the way my old Hamilton Beach brew station would filter it after circulating through and just before pouring a cup. Make sure you search around for the best price and order it with something else you need to offset shipping costs. I bought these for $4.95 a pair and about $1.25 shipping when purchased with a replacement carafe from the same seller (Buy-it-Now-Store). Highly recommended!

Great Appliance Does it All

This appliance does it all. Great for defrosting and toasting bagels. You hit toaster button and then immediately hit defrost button, so it is a single operation. Wonderful convection oven. Simply the best looking and working toaster oven we’ve have ever used. We first purchase the staineless Kitchen Aid device because of it’s reputation and looks but returned it because it was inferior. Simply The Best

Clear some space in your attic for your George Foreman grill or just toss that baby altogether. This thing is better than anything else on the market. The floating top grill means that even thick sandwiches get cooked evenly. The removable grill plates are easy to clean, unlike the Foreman. You can open it all the way up and use both plates as a double-size flat griddle. Perhaps most importantly, the only plastic I can find is on the knobs. The whole thing just has a restaurant-quality feel to it.

This griddler rocks! The first day I had it we made panini sandwiches.. yummy! they were perfect! Then, having read the one review on here and seeing the splatter photos I wanted to try some meat on the griddler myself. So I cooked burgers on it. These were thick steack burgers and they grilled to perfection on this griddler! There was no splatter mess at all, the drip cup worked great and, even better, cleanup of the griddler itself was a snap. Perhaps the reviewer who had issues had the griddler on too high, I dont know. But I’ve had no problem at all.

This is my first ice cream maker. I find it very simple to operate and have made excellent batches of ice cream to date. Instructions are clear, concise and easy to understand. Once you understand the principle involved, you can deviate and make all kinds of unique and interesting flavors. I suggest that you invest in “Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Dessert Book”. It provides recipes to make the 3 “Sweet Cream Bases” that most all ice cream is made from. Enjoy this product.

Great ice cream every time. I highly recommend this machine if you like ice cream, one note though, the add ins at the end of the churning (chocolate chips, cookies, nuts, etc….) I prefer to increase to two cups instead of one like the book says. With only one, there just doesn’t seem to be enough, and also make sure to give your ice cream a few good manual stirs with a plastic or wooden spoon after the machine is done churning. Sometimes the added ingredients put in at the end don’t make it to the bottom. I may put them in earlier than five minutes before the end to see if this helps. All in all, a great buy, plus free shipping!!

Finally Found It!

After purchasing 3 other coffee makers, the 4th one is the charm! This coffee maker makes great tasting coffee. I never knew there was a difference — it’s worth spending a few more dollars on. It also has all of the features I was looking for such as: adjustable warming plate, 1-4 cup selection, water filter, programmable. It is a rather tall machine, but certainly not a problem as it fits fine underneathe most cabinets. Als, the carafe is well-made and has a spout that pours nicely without spilling. No complaints about this one!

Ah hah, I’m all shook up!

Well ok, maybe I am not all shook up so much as BLENDED up. I purchased this immersion blender after my older no name brand unit purchased at Wally World died in the middle of blending a pot of hot soup. I like that you can wash the blenders blade assembly in the dishwasher and the stainless steel shaft is not stained like so many of the ALL PLASTIC models. Another thing I love is the power of the unit and the sharpness of the blades; they will reduce a pot of cream of broccoli soup to a smooth consistency in nothing flat.

Oh and when I say broccoli soup folks, I MEAN broccoli soup. I put nearly two bunches of steamed broccoli in my soup and I only chunk it prior to blending with the immersion blender. This blender will puree` the soup to a perfect creamy texture in nothing flat. (Reserve a few pieces of the chunked broccoli to add back to the soup for texture purposes) I have also used it on my potato and asparagus soups with equally great results.

If you are looking for an immersion blender with lots of power and a “NO STAIN” Stainless Steel shaft then IMO, you cannot go wrong with this model from Cusinart.

Great Hand Blender

Being a health enthusiast and always on the go, I always look for a quicker way to prepare meals. This hand blender lets me do that and save me a lot of time. I’ve had it for a little over a month now. It has a simple one-speed button along with a simple, yet sturdy 2-piece design which releases by an additional button. Clean up is a BREEZE – just rinse it in warm water and dry. The power is unparalleled – I make a lot of shakes and throw a lot of solid food into it and in a about 1/2 a minute or less its ready to drink. The motor is so powerful it suctions my shaker to it so I when I lift the blender while its blending, it lifts the shaker too! And the noise decibel is maybe half that of a normal blender which helps a lot, especially for people with sensitive hearing.
