Very solid workout bench.

If you’re looking for a versatile workout bench to do your decline, incline, and flat bench presses, this bench is an excellent choice. I’m very happy with the quality of the construction, and it’s as sturdy as most benches I’ve used in commercial gyms. The back can be adjusted from the decline position for situps/decline bench press to a full upright 90 degrees which is great for doing shoulder presses. The seat also has 2 adjustable positions, flat and decline. I like to workout with free weights most of the time and this bench allows me to do just about any exercise I need that requires a bench. The total assembly time took about an hour total, and was very easy. Although it’s pricier than some of the other benches on Amazon, I think it’s worth it.

Worth every Penny!

Purchased this for my 16 yr old son, who is a weightlifter, as a Christmas gift. He loves it and has not stopped using it since receiving it. Very solid construction,sharp looking and was assembled in about 20 minutes. No fear of tipping over, as some of the cheaper models seem to do with heavy weights, and back of bench is longer so it fits a man’s torso very well compared to alot of benches that seem designed more for a women’s length. Highly recommend this for the beginner to the experienced lifter!

Well built, sturdy item

I recently purchased this bench in conjunction with a bowflex revolution FT. This bench is very sturdily built, and you can see that the welding is quality. The frame is as solid as a bike frame, while also having a very heavy feel. Altogether it took me about 30 minutes to put this bench together, and also it held me quite well. As I am about 235 pounds, the sturdiness of a bench is fairly important, and i highly recommend this bench to anyone who is in need of one.

Good quality, decent price

The bench arrived quickly and in good condition. Was relatively easy to assemble. The bench came with the required allen wrenches. Though, two of the bolts (with lock nuts) really needed a pair of pliers to be tightened. The bench is quite sturdy in all positions. In fact, you can use the padded leg restraints and the bench in the decline position to do sit-ups. The back and butt pads could probably use a few more staples from a staple gun, but not necessary. Overall, a good product. Stay away from the cheaper, flimsy brands and just get this one.

No problem at all…

In the past few weeks I have assembled two Rowing Machines and the Bowflex 5.1 Bench and the instructions for this product are no better, no worse than any other instructions I’ve viewed recently. In fact, I thought putting the stand together was pretty self-explanatory even without the instructions. I assembled the stand in a little over an hour with a few quick glances at the instruction book because I HATE reading instructions. It did take a little muscle to tighten the screws and bolts, but then, that is why I wanted the Dumbbell Set in the first place. That being said, I think it’s a great product, well made and sturdy. I have to admit after reading the other reviews I was put off at the thought of having to struggle to put another piece of equiptment together, but, it was really a breeze! The bench is also an excellent product too.

Great product. They work great. Me and my kids use them while we watch TV. You must watch the DVD before you start using them. Never realized I was doing my dumbbell exercises the wrong way. Great investment.

This set of dumbbells are really worth the investment. I had the 552 dumbbells and returned those to purchase this set. I was already lifting close to the 52.5 weight limit with the 552s and could see that I would be better off with the 1090s. I’d recommend watching the DVD that accompanies the 1090s. It’s got some great advice on caring for the set as well as some training tips.

I am very happy with this purchase, it was delivered quickly. The dumbbells are high quality, look good, and easily switchable. The ability to do multiple excercises and with heavier weights is what I wanted and that is exactly what I got. Excellent dumbbells but an expensive investment.

Great Set of Dumbbells

These things are very high quality and work great if you are limited in space. It is like having an entire set of dumbbells. Switching between the weight amounts in quick and easy. I am using these along with the P90X program and I have plenty of time to make the switch to different weights before the next exercise begins. I would highly recommend these dumbbells to anyone else interested in a good dumbbell set who does not want to purchase an entire set of individual dumbbells. The price is a little steep but I already feel it has been well worth it. Buy these things and get to work. You will see results. Bring It!!

Lives up to expectations

This product is exactly what I hoped it would be. Well made, attractive in appearance (looks great sitting in the corner of my industrial loft’s living room), and very easy to use. I do wish the SelectTech 220 was still available for those of us who use lighter weights and would prefer a smaller dumbell profile. OTOH, my husband can share the 552s while the 220s (max. weight 25 lbs I believe) would not have worked for him. Works great with the P90X exercise program.

Great Product

This just arrived today. Took about 2 hours to assemble, but it’s pretty easy. I almost bought this from another site, because they were going to assemble it (would’ve been 200 extra dollars for that) and I am very glad I did it myself.

This unit is extremely sturdy and well put together. I was a bit nervous to buy this because I have young kids I did not want to trash it. Believe me, they couldn’t! This is far too well-designed and durable.

Worked out for about an hour, and I love it. Lots of exercises you can do (both muscular and cardio) and you can really feel it.

As others have noted on other models, I can see how the weights (200 lbs) might not be enough, but I am not looking to become the Incredible Hulk. This unit is perfect to stay fit and not let those holiday meals get the upper hand.

I really recommend this to anyone who wants to work at home and does not want to be bored with the same old routine (treadmill, stationary bike, etc.)

Bowflex PR1000 Home Gym

We love our Bowflex PR1000 home gym. It folds up, it has the option of a full flat bench or slanted back. We do intend on purchasing more weights for it. It’s great at the moment but my husband would like to add more weight as we go. Tremendous purchase and great communication with Amazon.com as our 1st bowflex was lost during shipment (found a couple of days later) but Amazon.com immediately sent out another one to us and arrived ASAP! No problems!

Great product for the money

Took a little over an hour to assemble, and all the parts were there. My wife and I use it everyday. I am very happy with the variety of exercises that can be done, and you can get many more if your a little creative. One note though, there is a small plastic sticky-backed cable holder that goes on the back of the vertical assembly that is designed to hold the top cables out of the way. It came lose after just a week. I used some Gorilla glue on it and still holding after three weeks. If your on a budget (who isn’t) and don’t like gyms, this is the way to go!!!

Love it First, I want to commend CEVA, the shipping company who delivered my treadmill. The guys were scheduled between 4 and 7pm, and called me at 3:30 to ask what time was best for me. I stated 4pm, and they were there precisely at 4. They were courteous, professional and efficient, and they were careful not to scar my walls or floors as they brought it in. I simply could not have been happier.

Second, I love this treadmill. It took me a about an hour and a half to set it up, but I am female and was trying to do it alone. I had to call for backup to get the heavy end of the the machine (the motor end) where I wanted it on the mat, but aside from that setup was a snap. The parts fit together logically (imagine that!), and everything (including tools) were included. They even give you a bottle of lube to get you started with maintenance of the machine. Go for it! It folds upward to give you extra room for yoga, stretching, etc. The look of the machine is very impressive, but not intimidating!
