First Impressions: The packaging is reminiscent of a piece of expensive soap. But we noted that Apple designer Jonathan Ive used bathroom fittings designed. The Magic Apple Mouse is one of the features of my new iMac.
I now reports on the impressions:
The mouse was connected to my iMac via Bluetooth “,” recognized this

Remarkable piece of electronics

My old iPod 3rd gen had 15 GB and was huge. I replaced it with this tiny 16GB iPod, which has a wonderful FM radio with the best reception I have seen in a portable device. I have used my new Nano enough to see that it will be used a lot. With integration with the new iTunes, I can download audio from iTunes U or podcasts, and sync them to the iPod easily. Walking around listening to a lecture From Columbia University or a podcast makes exercise fun. The video is interesting but not what I normally use. The addition of FM radio, and the dropping of price from the $400 I paid for my previous iPod to the $179 made the decision to purchase easy for me.

Room to grow

I got this new 160GB because my old 80GB had been full for a while. I wanted a 160GB so bad that a few months ago I almost broke down and got the discontinued 160GB from ’07 at $500. glad I waited for Apple to release the 160GB again. I like everything about the Classic. the cover flow is really nice, not just working with album covers but photos and movies too. I love how it also shows the number of songs in library or playlist just by highlighting and not selecting. It’s crazy that this is twice the hard drive space but is like 1/3 less in actual size. Guess I’ll hold on to this till they come out with a 320GB

Be happy with what we got!

This is in response to the (or any) complaint about this new iPod Classic. From what I have read we are lucky Apple has continued to support the ‘Classic’ line. There was word they were going to discontinue it because it isn’t selling like the extremely popular Nano. I think they re-evaluated the line and decided to support those serious music aficionados and continue to offer the large capacity iPod almost as a favor. They know there is a niche for it. The downside is likely much, much less R&D for the Classic. It will likely see very little of the gimmicky bells and whistles the Nano or Touch see and for me that is just fine. I barely use the video options now much less a camcorder on my iPod – sheesh. I am glad to see that the classic is still around. They addressed the most troublesome issue with the battery life now I just wish they would make the case and screen much more scratch resistant and I will be a very happy camper.

Apples Digital Swiss Army Knife

I traded up from my first generation iPod because the G1 pod didn’t have the processing power that iPod OS3 demanded. Since the recent operating system upgrade, my G1 ipod seemed sluggish and Apps like Apple Mail, and the NT Times would hang-up or crash. The 3G software was demanding too much of the G1 processor. The G1 lost much of the electronic fairy dust magic of the Apple experience. I am so happy with my 3G ipod… the magic is back… it loads web pages & Apps so much faster. Apple has also improved energy management/battery life in the G3. Sure I too am disappointed that Apples Digital Swiss Army Knife with 75,000 tools, isn’t also a camera… but what it is… a powerful mini computer thats smaller than a box of Chiclets is so… so… sweet!

This Ipod touch is amazing not only for music but I was able to do everything I needed without having to go back to my lap top (control my fantasy football team, pay bills, shop on line, read the news, etc) thanks to the Apps. I just got my Ipod touch 32 GB (3rd Generation) last week and I haven’t put it down. I was long over due for a MP3 upgrade (had a creative Zen for years) and can’t believe I waited so long. This Ipod touch is amazing not only for music but I was able to do everything I needed without having to go back to my lap top (control my fantasy football team, pay bills, shop on line, read the news, etc) thanks to the Apps. So easy to use. Never owned an Ipod before so I can’t compare to previous versions but for any one looking to upgrade, this is a no brainer.

Excellent device

A few days ago I bought the Ipod Touch 8 Gb. It is true that this model it’s actually a repackaged 2G, but the fact that there are not tangible upgrades (which has been a bit disappointing)does not make it a bad device. In fact, the Ipod Touch is still awesome, even if it’s a repacked 2G. The 32 and 64 Gb models do have a faster processor and other features that the 2G does not have. I recommend buying this device IF you do not have one or own a 1G. If you own the 2G, it will probably be better to wait until the 4G model is released next year.

New Mac convert

I’ve been using Windows based computers for a little while now, and they’ve given me nothing but headaches. SO I decided that it was time to upgrade to something new and more reliable. I’m writing this review from the apple right now and I have to say I am enjoying it very much. It is definitely pretty to look at. I was at a coffee shop earlier and I got second glances from everyone. That aside, this thing seems to be pretty sturdy and powerful. It has had a couple of minor hiccups though…but what I like about it is that the hardware isn’t affected if there’s a glitch in the software. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.
