Drives a stake thru Vampire Power
I bought this product to save electricity in my media center. The product works as advertised. I have my TV plugged into the control outlet. I plugged my DirecTV PVR into the “always on” outlet. I have my game console, amplifier/receiver and DVD player plugged into the controlled outlets. When I turn off the TV, the game controller, Amp, and DVD player are disconnected from power. This ends the slow bleed of electricity that these devices use.
Works as advertised
Recently purchased for my home laptop setup to control power to external HDD, speakers, etc. Works great – I no longer have to remember to shut down the power strip when I shut down the computer. Purchased 2 more for other computers in the house.
