Hitachi C10FCE2 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw Reviews
Great Saw
I purchased this saw just over 6 months ago and have been very pleased with it. It does exactly what I need for it to do at a very reasonable price. It arrived undamaged and with all it’s components. I also purchased the Irwin Industrial Tools 3061001 Miter Saw Laser Guide along with the saw. I admit however, that I used the saw for 5 months before installing the guide. The blade is easy to access and the guide installed and worked perfectly. It projects a very fine, bright line on the left edge of the cut. It installed in place of the factory washer using the factory bolt. With the blade that shipped with the saw, the left edge of the cut is exactly on the line projected by the laser. So you have only the kerf of the blade being taken out to the right. I would purchase both items again.
Great Value
I was replacing my at least 10 year old Hitachi C10 with the newer model. So far I love it. For the last couple of years I have cut aluminum on my old C10 almost exclusively (Aluminum thresholds and door frames). My old saw still works, but after years of abuse the bearing that locks the mitre table into the set angles fell out. The only thing I had done to the saw was to replace the table insert and the chip deflector. No oil, brushes or anything else. If this new saw is half as good I will consider myself way ahead of the game.
