Perfect Espresso and Cappuccino at a budget price
I’ve had this machine for one week and even though I had never used one before found myself making the most delicous cappuccino’s and lattes you can imagine. The machine feels solid. The top is stainless steel and is wonderful for warming your cups. The frother does an amazing job. It is low to the counter as some have said, so I found a beautiful ceramic cake stand and set my machine on top of it. Problem solved. It looks nice and I store extra cups under it. It makes it so much easier to froth milk. I think the built in tamper works just fine because I have managed to make the most beautiful and great tasting espresso ever. The removable water container is easy to use. It’s true that you don’t have to wait long for it to warm up. The instructions say 30 minutes but that’s not necessary. I turn it on and in 5 minutes or less I have a great cup of espresso. I do put hot water in my cup first to warm it and then pour it out before I set it under the machine. A friend of mine who had both a steam driven machine and this one told me to get this one hands down. I’m glad I did. The price is amazing and so are the espresso’s, cappuccino’s and lattes I’ve already made.
Great Value & Well Designed
I went with the recommendations/reviews rather than basing my purchase on price. I appreciate what people had to say because what I found in this machine is what I was hoping for. It is compact, easy to use, and delivers fantastic espresssos. I am very happy with my purchase because the quality of my coffee makes me feel like I wouldnt miss anything if I never visited another Starbucks in my life. The machine takes a few minutes to brew the coffee (you gota let it warm up) but once it starts cracking it, it’s fast. Lots of beautifuly, rich, favorful crema. Only complain is that I cant fit a regular size cup under the coffee filter/outlet. So if you purchase this machine, you may want to get the small espresso cups. I dont mind so much because I love my espressos and small cups make the experience that much more authentic. Buy this and enjoy. It’s a good value for the quality of coffee.
