The compressor and guns all seem new and work great. The only problem like others have mentioned is the packaging. The first kit I received the handle was broken. I quickly filled out the form online and they sent me another on within a week. Unfortunately the second one was also broken too. This time I talked with Amazon on the phone. They sent me one more which was luckily not broken, but still had no packaging materials. I wonder how much it cost Amazon to mail me 3 compressors and pay to mail 2 back to themselves. They had to lose money on the deal. The compressor kit is a good deal = 5 stars. Amazon customer service was great = 5 stars. The packaging is horrible = 0 stars. Don’t order the product expecting it to be unbroken the first time.

I love the ease of mobility of this compressor as well as being maintenance free, the price is equal to its value. The products came as stated and looked unused. The guns all work well. It came with a good black hose. It is noisy when charging, but I have not heard a compressor that is not noisy when charging. The packaging was delivered in good shape as well as the contents inside the box. I have had the items now for eight months and it has all worked well. It is a good buy. I recommend this item for all do-it-yourselfers!

Excellent value and works great I received this today, and it works great. I would suggest using the back (non-serrated) edge of the steel to shave the magnesium and the serrated edge for striking the flint. The magnesium block and flint both have some kind of coating, so the first time you use it it’ll take a few extra tries. I’ve seen these selling for double or triple the price and people were happy to pay it, so this is an excellent deal!

In my opinion the quality is great.

Yes you could purchase your own lumber, angle iron, pipe, screws and bolts from Lowes or Home Depot and build one but unless
you are a contractor and have special connections you will be paying more than the $54
I paid for this. But then again, it could be like the old “Electronic Heathkits” of years ago.
You get the enjoyment and satisfaction of putting it together.
(I built an oscillosope decades ago)

Note that the thickness of the board is made up of THREE layers sandwiched or glued together.
The outer two layers are constructed of strips of bamboo about 5/8 inch wide.
Within each strip you see the yearly growth ring of the bamboo.

Much better than a shovel My wife bought the floor model when our local hardware store ran out of regular snow shovels. We had gotten by with just one shovel during the past two winters in Virginia, but the freak mid Atlantic Winter storms of 2010 caused us to increase our snow removing capacity. Read the reviews of Snow Joe’s limitations and from prior experience decided to remove snow as it accumulated in four inch levels. The snow was very wet and heavy at the beginning of the blizzard and Snow Joe worked like a charm. Much quicker and without the arm and back fatigue that regular shoveling caused. We ended up using for four out of the five snow removing iterations, only because our neighborhood lost electricity 24 hours into the storm. The final snow was a light powder that was quickly removed by shovels with our still fresh arms (we later found an additional shovel). Our driveway is 75 feet long and we easily removed 16 inches of snow with Snow Joe. A gasoline powered snow blower would have been a better tool, but Snow Joe worked much better than a regular shovel. We had not gotten a snow deeper than four inched during our prior two winters in Virginia, so considering price and frequency Snow Joe works just right for us.

Snow Joe 322P I live in Kentucky where the snowfalls are too inconsistent to justify a snowblower. But there are times it looks like Canada around here, so I was looking for something easier to use than my snow shovel. I did a little research and found the Toro Power shovel and the Snow Joe 322P. After reading many reviews on both, I decided to take a chance on the cheaper Snow Joe. To say it as succinctly as possible, the Snow Joe 322P works. Avoid rocks, mulch beds and broken up ice and this things chews through snow like the Tasmanian Devil. It does take a little while to adjust to the direction it throws the snow (straight ahead) but you soon learn to take short strokes and work your way across the area you are clearing, like a driveway. I do get a kick out of seeing neighbors stopping their cars in the street to see what I am using to clear my drive, sidewalk and porch. Assembly is a piece of cake, and cord management quickly becomes second nature. I give it 4 stars because the hard plastic of the blades still concern me, but after about 6 uses, it works like a charm. A word of advice, do go ahead and get an extension cord made for use in low temperatures, because cord management is easier as a result.

Snow Joe Works For Me I ordered this snow thrower directly from the manufacturer on February 8 and they delivered it to my door step, free of charge, the next day. It also came right before my region was struck by 2 feet of snow on February 10. First of all, let me say it performed very well for this snow storm as it exceeded my expectations. I woke up on the 10th to about 8-10 inches of snow and the Snow Joe cleared my four car driveway and paths to both my front and back door easily. I subsequently went out 2 additional times during the day and easily cleared another 4-5 inches of snow each time. It seems that this machine will clear up to 10 inches of light to moderate snow fairly well at a time. However, I wouldn’t use it to try and move heavy amounts of slush or ice, or snow that has been compacted and on the ground for several days. My neighbor cleared this type of snow with a heavy duty gas snow blower that he payed $800 for, and I don’t think the Snow Joe, with its many plastic parts, could handle this type of workload. So if you buy this machine with the right expectations and are willing to clear snow several times during a significant snow storm, then the Snow Joe is a great product for the price. Also, I was going to buy the Toro electric snow thrower but the price was jacked up to $400 dollars during this storm, so the Snow Joe really was a bargain for $249.

Rare Power Tool & Serves My Purpose I have an old house that was built during the Eisenhower administration. The windows are original and I needed to take one out. When they built the house, the framing went up first, then the windows, and finally the 3/4″ interlocking wood panels. I needed something to cut through just enough of the panels on the outside so I can knock out the window from the inside. I could use my circular saw but it has too much kickback or I could use my reciprocating saw but the blade is too long or it could slip out of the cut seam and bend the blade. I saw the info-mercial on tv so I thought to give it a try.

I got it for about $190 including shipping on ebay which is still a little pricey considering most of my power tools are Black & Decker Firestorm and I have never spent more than $80 for a single tool. Upon opening the case and examine it, the saw itself seem good quality, not too heavy or not too light. I was a little nervous about the made in china label but once I got use of it, I was quite surprise of the quality. It comes with a safety pulse power on button which means if it slips out of your trigger hand, it will turn off. Everything is preassembled except the tool handle which just screw in like a bolt. The blades are kinda thin and not as thick as standard circular saw blade. Just like the design of circular saw blades, the teeth are a little wider than the blade itself. I measured them with my digital caliper and the thinnest part is 2.9mm and the thickest is 3.4mm. The diameter of the blades is about 125mm or 4 and 7/8″. You couldn’t tell on tv but they are next to each other spinning in opposite direction and I wouldn’t be surprise if they rub against each other slightly. I always wear ear protection but it’s not extremely loud and definitely less noisy than my Skil 13 amp circular saw. The sticker says 7 amp so it’s about 840 watt. I know they said it could cut through almost any material including heavy steel but I wouldn’t use it on everything that my other tools can do just as well. No matter how sharp the blades are or how heavy duty the motor is, cutting through heavy material generate a lot of heat on the blades that made them dull. Since it’s proprietary, I would think the blades are very expensive for household use. I saw someone gave it 1 star for poor performance on 3/4″ plywood. The thing about this saw is, even circular saw, that you should turn it on and wait for the motor to spin full speed without load before you start cutting. For my use, the blades bite into 3/4″ wood just by touching it but I have encountered some snag and jerkiness when one of the blades hit a nail. If both blades hit the nail, it’s a little smoother. It’s still controllable and cut through the nail but I wouldn’t do it on a regular basis. If you cut wet lumber or pressure-treated wood, it will bog down some more. If you keep the blades perpendicular to the material to be cut, you will get the most out of it. Overall I would rate it 8 out of 10.

This saw is designed to use freehand which mean it doesn’t have a rip guide like you can attach to a circular saw. It also does not have a depth setting so it could be a problem for someone who need accurate precision. So far, they only make 1 model for right-handed users. They say almost 1 out 10 people are left-handed and many injuries or even death associated with them using power tools designed for right-handed users, so be careful. I’ve heard somewhere that newer model of this has a laser guide option.

Garelick Roof Rake With our area experiencing unprecedented snow this season, the Garelick roof rake was a very good purchase. My husband used it on our house and a neighbor’s and then 4 other neighbors borrowed the rake. Everyone has raved at the product and are currently looking at the site to purchase their own.

Exceeded expectations Not much to write about this other than, it works like it says it will; things rarely do that so I was surprised. It’s light enough to use even with all of the extensions.The rollers prevent you from scraping off your shingles. The aluminum is sturdy enough to pull off a LOT of snow.

My only nit-picking is the quick release buttons to connect the sections. I don’t know how to describe this but, the button only secures one side so when you pull the pole flexes to one side. It was an easy fix, I just pulled out the spring loaded locking pin, drilled a hole all the way through where the poles connect and replaced the pin with a bolt and wing nut on each section. took 5 minutes.

Works great, buy now before you need it because I’ve noticed the price on Amazon.com fluctuates by about $15 day to day.
