ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime Review

I’ve been taking part in with my new ASUS Transformer Prime Tablet for four days now and it’s a.w.e.s.o.m.e! The display is AMAZING – better than the iPad2! Now that I’ve obtained HBOGo and Hulu (free) engaged on it – I could not be happier! I additionally like which you can regulate textual content measurement for web looking – which you cannot do on the iPad2, by the way. Email set-up works great. This is by far one of the best Android Tablet on the market today. I see that some have skilled wifi issues but my wifi connection with the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime has been terrific – in all 4 completely different places where I have used it! The only factor I might want can be for the arduous begin-as much as be a little bit quicker – but that’s it. A+++

I purchased this ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-B1 tablet from Amazon and I have used it to search the web and download movies and loaded games for my grandchildren to play, and I am very happy with this tablet. I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad K1 tablet from another retailer and I was not very happy with it. The Lenovo was bulkier and did not have the ability to download movies which was important to me since I fly often and do not have internet connection. The Lenovo did OK with streaming movies and it had a sim card slot so you had the ability to get a data plan which the Eee Pad does not have but I don’t use a data plan so that was not important to me. I would recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a reasonably priced tablet to access the web and watch movies. Also the Android Market has a good assortment of apps and movies to chose from.

This HTC DROID INCREDIBLE 2 is my first smart phone. I have had it for 2 months, and I love it. The phone is slim, yet it feels very solid. It took a few days for me to set it up exactly the way I want it – notifications, ringtones, apps, contacts… Nevertheless, the time spent was well worth it. I had this phone during a trip to NY, and the GPS feature bailed us out when my friend missed an exit and got lost driving from NJ to NY. The Yelp app also helped a friend and me find a restaurant in Chinatown. I read other reviews stating the battery life is short on this phone. I charge my phone every night, and I have never seen my battery life get below the half way mark.

I am glad I waited on the Toshiba Thrive. Toshiba Thrive has everything I wanted in a Tablet. I looked at the iPad2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Motorola Zoom and the HP Touchpad. They all had major shortcomings that I could not deal with. The Thrive has no shortcomings. Toshiba Thrive is the perfect sum of it’s parts. I love the full sized SD card slot and the full sized USB. I plugged my desktop and my old laptop into the Thrive and both were immediately recognized. It was a snap transferring files from both devices to my Thrive using the excellent built-in file manager. Toshiba finally got this Tablet thing right. I know that sounds like the commercial but it is true!

I’ve had my Droid X2 (Motorola DROID X2) for about a month now, and I’m really liking this phone. It’s the first smart phone I’ve owned. I thought I was technically inclined – until I opened this phone. Motorola DROID X2 is fairly complicated to run for someone who has never had a smart phone, but one month later, I have a handle on most of it. I know it does a great many things I have not yet figured out, but I’m getting there.

Motorola DROID X2 Android Phone is large but flat, which makes it easy to slip into my front pocket – even with the cover I have on it Amzer Luxe Argyle Skin Case for Motorola Droid X MB810 – Purple. The battery life is horrible, but I purchased a second battery RND Power Solutions Premium Lithium-Ion Battery (BH5X) for Motorola Droid X & Droid X2 for ten bucks, and between the two it lasts all day for me. I charge the phone and battery on a secondary charger RND Power Solutions Deluxe 2nd Battery Charge and Data Sync Cradle / Desktop Docking Station for Motorola Droid X & Droid X2 at night, and it is usuable pretty much all day.

I haven’t figured out how to import sounds to make personalized ringtones, but that’s probably more me than the phone. It downloads apps quickly, links to your email, FB, Twitter, etc. Easy to customize your home page and all of the other pages with widgets where you want them.

Camera is fantastic, takes great pics. The video is really good too. It was super easy to transfer my contacts from my old phone to this using Verizon’s Backup Assistant. Plug it into your computer (using the power plug it comes with) and you can transfer all your pictures to your files without having to email them from your phone (that can be time consuming).

I like the way it retains your entire text conversations under the contact’s name. Easy to retrieve voice mail as well.

Overall, I’m very happy with the Motorola DROID X2 Android Phone now that I have a second battery. I’ll probably be even happier once I figure the whole thing out.

I am blown away by this HTC EVO 3D 4G Android Phone. Without getting into all of the details that others already covered, I want to touch on a just a few features.

First, sound quality of the media player surprised me. I used it to drive my Sennheiser HD600 headphones and immediately heard subtle detail and smooth sound in my music that I had not expected from a phone – not that I expected much given past experiences, but none the less, it was a pleasant surprise that the sound quality was enjoyable. Since I would like to add a lot of musich to my phone – I have one request for phone manufacturers – could you add a second micro SD slot so instead of replacing the generous 8GB card that came with my hone with another, I could just add a card for even more storage. The increase in price for card capacity is not linear so two smaller cards would be much more cost effective.

I like the latest version of HTC Sense very much and the speed of the phone and fluidity of the transition from screen to screen to app is amazing – thanks I am sure to the dual core processor. I can also get to the screen or application that I want much quicker than with earlier Android phones.

The HTC EVO 3D 4G is a very cool feature after you get used to it (you need to find the right angle and the right distance from your eyes), but for those who do not care for the 3D, the phone is spectacular whether or not you ever use this feature. Either way, you can still take quality photos and shoot HD video in 2D as well and the shutter button is perfect. Next to the shutter is a toggle switch that allows you switch between 2D and 3D easily.

The screen is beautiful, the size is perfect, battery has been fine, etc. I am glad Sprint did not raise the price of this phone and has decided to remain competetive. Sprint service has been great and I could not get anything close to this phone and service plan for the price with another major carrier. In short, I love this phone!

Have had this HTC Inspire 4G Android Phone over 3 months now and love nearly everything about it. I returned an iphone 4 due to problems and like this MUCH better. HTC Inspire 4G Android Phone is very responsive & the screen is gorgeous! Calls are very clear and rarely ever drop, unless I’m talking to someone on an iphone (think we know what the problem is there). The 8MP camera takes great outdoor pictures – as good as most digital cameras, if not better (indoor acceptable, but hey it’s a phone). Video & sound are also excellent. The 4.3″ screen size is just right for me – not too small to watch videos and not so large that I can’t pocket it.

DATA speeds were initially not the greatest, but that problem was solved with the recent software update & continuing ATT network improvements (I am in the Springfield, MA area). I now get around 2-2.5 Mbps down and 1-1.5 Mbps up (prior to update, upload was capped at 300 Kbps). Around Hartford, CT I usually get around 3.0 Mbps down or better.

Downsides? The screen HTC Inspire 4G is not so easy to see in sunlight, but don’t find myself doing that much anyway. Battery life isn’t great, but definitely much better than I expected with this size screen. It got even better with the recent software update. Turning off some apps that auto-start, especially location services you don’t use, helps a lot. I turn off GPS, Wifi and bluetooth unless I’m using them (it still uses cell tower location services) and I usually get 2 full days with moderate calling before needing a recharge.

The only problem I had is that the SD card cover cracked in half when I was trying to take it off (known defect – don’t hold it by the sides when removing). But I could still put it back on in two pieces, and HTC sent out a new one at no cost to me.

I’ve been an iPhone user ever since the first iPhone and upgraded to every version of an iPhone, every other year I would upgrade at full price. What I can tell you is I’ve had the Motorola Atrix for only a few days and the customization that you can do with Android phones is Incredible.

I will try and list what I like about Motorola Atrix;
You can customize widgets to your home screen to display a mini version of your most used programs, I use it like a preview without having to open the program.

There is a bar across the top of the phone that has all the phone notifications.

I use the Finger print recognition to unlock the phone which I find it to be much faster than entering a code, there is a code backup just in case something happens to the fingerprint reader or if you are wearing gloves.

Downloading and Installing applications is faster than any phone I have ever used. There are a lot of Free apps on the Android Market that are paid apps on the App Store.

The best analogy I can tell you is; This Motorola Atrix phone is like a custom race car, It will take a few days to customize, but once you do, it’s like nothing you’ve ever driven before.

I see a lot of real negative reviews about this Samsung DROID CHARGE phone and not completely sure why. Yes the processor is a carryover from the galaxy s but it just so happens this Samsung DROID CHARGE is the best single core processor for 3d performance and achieves the highest frame rate of any one core processor. Quadrant scores don’t reflect this but its true. Also this is the most balanced phone in other aspects, hummingbird is also efficient, battery is larger than tbolt and screen if used right will give exceptional battery life (up to 2 full days with moderate use). The touch wiz interface isn’t bad like people make it out to be it’s actually very easy to use and quite colorful and pleasing to the eye, and swype is a must have for me i love Samsung DROID CHARGE and it is not on the tbolt. Of course I do use launcher pro though. I have had other htc phones and while they are overall good phones reliability, efficiency, amazing screens, and good resale value is what Samsung does best(think of it has the Toyota or Honda of phones). I work for Verizon and have the chance to try all the phones and this has been nothing but a pleasure to work work! LTE is amazing and Verizon has bought the entire network from the fcc. Everything (including 1g areas will be 4g by 2013) Sure dual cores are coming but unless you do hardcore gaming or need 1080p video as a must this phone will get you better battery life and a more practical phone that doesn’t overheat(bionic)As for updates my thought is better late than never and Samsung did come through as i’m sure 2.3 will on this one as well.
