I love pretty much every aspect of my Kindle except for the fact that I can’t LEND my books to my sister, or my mother, or even my husband. Right now, my husband is reading one of my Kindle books, so I had to give up the Kindle so he can finish the book. How frustrating. If I could just transfer it to his Kindle for a bit, that would be so handy, and then he could pass it back when he is done. Amazon’s competitor, the Nook allows lending. When will KINDLE allow lending too?

The Amazon Kindle2 Global My one and only criticism is that they really needed to ship the Kindle2 with a cover. I know Kindle 1 owners received a cover with theirs, and it really is a shame they didn’t do it with the Kindle2. The major issue with not having a cover is that the Kindle is so smooth and sleek (not really a bad thing) and thin that at times it can be a little slippery to hold. I will definately order a cover for mine, though it won’t be the Amazon one (I like different color options, Amazon cover only comes in black).

It’s light, easy to use, and kind on the eyes.The best thing about an e-book reader is that you just need 1 hand to hold the book! This means that I can read and ‘turn’ the page with 1 hand, while eating with my other free hand or holding a railing in a moving train. Also, because you can store so many books in the reader, you’re always spoilt for a selection of books to choose from.

I love my new kindle. Since I do not enjoy reading off a computer I was concerned that I would not like reading from a kindle. But I decided to take a chance and order one along with the leather cover. I am glad I did. I love my kindle and enjoy reading from the kindle maybe even more than from a regular book. I enjoy the features such as highlighting, bookmarking, etc. When I order a book it is immediately available, is less expensive and I pay no shipping costs. I highly recommend the Amazon kindle.
