This My Pillow Pets was a gift for my friends 6-year old son. He loves My Pillow Pets, and uses it as his My Pillow Pets each night. I had not heard of these before, but my friend said this is one thing her son wanted for his birthday. So I can’t say whether it is the real deal, but in the end does it really matter? My Pillow Pets is not about a name brand, all that matters is that the product is well made and is enjoyed by the recipient, right? The fabric is super soft, the hook and loop closure works great, and it’s just an overall great product. I would definitely buy this product again.

I agree with the other reviewers that the seller is making us believe these are the real pillow pets and they are not. I do have a real Ladybug pillow pet so I could see some obvious differences such as the labeling, fabric that covers the velcro and also the real ones are very fluffy. However, I have to say that I like that these fake pillow pets make for a flatter pillow because the real one are so fluffy and thick that the my child would get a neck cramp from sleeping on such a high pillow. My child prefers to sleep on this fake one because it’s flatter. It fluffs up nice when washed and put into the dryer. It holds up well and is very durable even after many washing. I also like the fabric that covers the velcro on this fake pillow pet because it’s large and easier to use than the fabric on the real pillow pets. My child do not play with either her dog or ladybug pillow pets. She prefers them open and used as a pillow or a cushion to sit down on to read books.
