Black Friday Sales 2010 Apple iPod touch 32 GB (4th Generation)

Everything worked perfectly out of the box. The features, beyond the music, camera and display are excellent. Had no trouble connecting to our home Wifi with security enabled. Have used most of the embedded apps with no problems. While overall we are delighted with the 4th gen IPOD touch, it really needs a silicone case to protect it. iPod touch 32 GB is easily scratched. Already picked up an IHome to use with it. If you get one, get a remote too!

I bought this Apple iPod touch 32 GB (4th Generation) when iPod touch 32 GB was first released and think it is great. It is a huge improvement on the 3G Touch (which I also have and which is also great), but it does seem to have a couple of teething issues:
The internet seems slower, when running both versions of the iTouch, the 3G downloads pages quicker than the iPod touch 4G – which does surprise me.
Also for some reason when it is connected to the Home WIFI network, it loses connection altogether and basically the only way that I have found to resolve this is by disconnecting and then re-connecting again. That is a bit tedious.
Finally for some reason some of the games do not respond to the volume control – again this is not a problem encountered on the 3G.
However, all that said it is great and my only other comment echoes others in the lack of a GPS – why why why did you not include this?

I got the itouch 4th generation 32 gb for my daughter, who informed me that it was all that was expected and more I cannot give a personel review as I wont be back in the US until mid november.
The delivery was in the time frame I requested without any disruptions. The way I like it to be.

Great product. iPod touch 32 GB is amazing what they can put into such a small device. The only downfall is when you play games, it drains the battery very quickly.

Love my i Touch Bought the latest iTouch (itouch 4th generation 32 g black friday) a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it! Had read a lot of reviews before purchasing, and was a little concerned about some of the negative reviews regarding the camera feature. I think the camera takes good pictures, not great,,,But then again, I bought this mainly for music, not for picture taking. That’s just one of the many things that I like about it. I am very happy with this Ipod touch 32 gb black friday product !
