No more dead jetski batteries
Since 2001 when we bought our jetski I have struggled to keep the battery charged during long periods of no use. Now I no longer have to pull the battery out of the hull and remember to connect and disconnect it from an old fashioned charger at least monthly. I also no longer have to worry about the battery boiling if I forget to unplug it. I especially like the ring terminals that install permanently under the starter cables so I can just mindlessly plug in the leads, plug in the wall cord, and walk away. Nothing like walking out to the garage and seeing that green light on knowing I’ll have no battery starting problems next time I want to use the ski. And with an 8 year old two-stroke, I need all the help I can get some days to get it started.
Famously Useful
These Tenders have been around for a long time. They are dependable and sensible. It wasn’t until recently that I discovered the waterproof version. It was only a few dollars more. The cost of the Deltran is about 1/3 of the cost of the battery in my bike. If it prolongs the life of the battery for a year or more it will have easily paid for itself.
