The unit can be used solely as a full functioning toaster, or it can simultaneously toast bread, poach or steam-scramble an egg, and warm a pre-cooked slice of meat–or any combination of these three functions–to make the ultimate breakfast sandwich at home in just four minutes. Simply add 2 tablespoons of water to the heating tray using the included measuring cup, lightly coat the poaching tray with oil or nonstick cooking spray, and crack an egg into the poaching tray. Then place a slice of pre-cooked meat onto the warming tray and replace the lid. Add bread, an English muffin, croissant, or bagel into the wide toaster slots, select “egg/toast” from the control panel, and push the lever down to begin the cooking process.

Unbelievably useful and durable.

I bought this well built, well designed, and easy to clean applicance this January and waited until now to write the review. This thing not only works, but works flawlessly. I’ve used this appliance almost daily since the purchase and it has held up very well. We find ourselves boiling eggs so much more often than before, since its so darn easy without any of the mess/splashing. You can decide how much water you need defending of the firmness of the eggs that you desire.I highly recommend this item for x-mas gifts, you simply can’t go wrong.

The BEST egg sandwiches!

We can’t say enough about this egg cooker/toaster! It’s quick, not messy, and makes the tastiest eggs ever. My girls like their yolks a bit runny (we put less water in than the lowest line.. both lines make fairly stiff yolks) and I enjoy my egg scrambled. Both methods work great. As a matter of fact, the scrambled egg comes out puffy and fluffy. These taste juuust like Egg McMuffins. Perfect. 5 stars!
